How the calculation flows
Rebalancing brings a portfolio back to your intended weights after prices drift. Enter each asset’s current value and the target weight you want it to hold, and the calculator shows how much of each to buy or sell to get there. If your target weights do not add up to 100 percent, it allocates using their relative proportions. It runs entirely in your browser and stores nothing.
FAQ
What if my target weights do not total 100%?
The calculator uses your weights in proportion to one another, so the whole portfolio is still allocated even if the figures do not sum to exactly 100.
Does it account for fees or tax?
No. It shows the raw buy and sell amounts; factor in trading fees and any tax before acting.
